Remove the plow shoes. BackDragBlades are designed to be mounted under the bottom base angle using the original cutting edge bolts. If that angle has plow shoe brace welding or other obstructions that cannot be removed, notch the BackDragBlade or cut/grind the bracing or welds out (recommended).
Sit the BackDragBlade on jack stands and lower the plow within a few inches of it. Start one end to finger tight. Start the other end bolt to finger tight. Insert the remaining bolts working in from the edges. Lower the plow with backdragblade onto jack stands; this forces a tight fit to the lower base angle. Finish tightening all bolts and we suggest using lock tight. Check after 5 hours.
Individual suggesting mounting procedures will be sent with all blades. Enjoy your BackDragBlade! |
